1. The amount of sodium acetate used in the preparation of glass is relatively small, mainly used as an additive for glass melt - flux, which can lower the melting point of glass, promote the melting and flowability of glass materials, so it has an important impact on the preparation process and properties of glass.
In addition, sodium acetate can improve the wettability of glass, enhance the adhesion between glass raw materials, and facilitate the uniform mixing of different raw materials, which can improve the uniformity and transparency of glass.
On the other hand, the addition of sodium acetate can also improve the anti crystallization performance of the glass. In the process of glass preparation, if the impurity content in the raw materials is too high, it is easy to cause glass crystallization and affect the quality of the glass. Sodium acetate can interact with some ions that cause crystallization, reducing the formation of crystals. -
